Hosting
This website runs on a server at Hostinger (data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany). When the site is accessed, technically necessary connection data (including IP address, date and time of access) is processed in order to deliver the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website in a technically flawless manner (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO)).
Availability and booking data (Smoobu)
To display available dates and prices, we query availability and prices from our channel manager Smoobu. When you make a booking request, we process your name, email address, travel dates, number of guests and the extras you have chosen in order to prepare the booking and process it with you. The legal basis is the performance or initiation of the accommodation contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (DSGVO)).
Payment processing (Stripe, bank transfer)
For card payments we use the payment service provider Stripe, which processes the payment data required for this. For payment by bank transfer, we process the payment data transmitted by your bank in order to match it to your booking. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (DSGVO)).
Right to object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to this processing. We will then stop the processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds to the contrary.
Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Your rights as a data subject
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your personal data. Where the processing is based on consent or a contract, you also have the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Visitor statistics without cookies
To understand how visitors find and use our site, we count page views and clicks on our own server in Germany, without cookies and without third parties. We store the page accessed, the source (for example a search engine or an AI assistant), the device type (mobile or computer) and the time. Your IP address is not stored; to count unique visits, we generate a check value from the IP address and browser information using a daily changing random value, so that a visit can no longer be recognised once the day is over. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO)).
